How much do you invest?
Our typical initial fund check is $50k and we often follow on with $50k-100k checks in the following round. We also have a leading syndicate with over 200 LPs, and will create special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for portfolio companies where we invest an additional $50k-$1M per deal
What stage do you invest in?
We are early-stage investors and mostly invest in pre-seed, seed and series A rounds
Do you lead rounds?
No, we invest alongside other VC funds and angel investors. Once we commit to founders we make introductions to other potential investors.
Do you invest internationally?
Yes, our team has a global footprint and we look at companies internationally. We have networks in NA, EU, LATAM and Asia
What is your industry focus?
We invest in early-stage sports technology companies in the b2b space.
What is your investment process and how long does it take?
We know how distracting a fundraising process can be at an early stage. That’s why we commit to being fast and decisive. What is truly important to us is building a relationship with the founding team. We start with an initial meeting or call. Most processes end there. But, if not, there is usually a second or third meeting or call with different members of our investment team. It is almost certain that you will have met or spoken with a large part of the investment team once we make the final investment decision. All of our investment team meet the founding team along the process.
How do you support your portfolio companies?
Honestly, ask founders of our portfolio companies. We have an established global network of the top tier teams, clubs and federations. Our team works to introduce our portfolio companies to the biggest clients across US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. We don't just invest our capital, we invest our knowledge, time and effort to grow our companies.
